Why not just get a 20" or 23" Apple Cinema Display? These are S-IPS panels with 8-bit color and excellent viewing angles.

It appears the 226bw has neither height adjustment nor pivot. The specs on Samsung's site describe the Stand Type as Simple and Stand Function as Swivel, Tilt. The 225bw specifically mentions height adjustment. In case any of that matters to you.

Samsung 193p work in DOS?

Well, that's mostly good news! I was afraid that DVI might not be supported in DOS if Windows was not running, as would be the case if I boot directly to DOS 6.22. Position is more critical than brightness, so if that is auto-adjusted, that would be great. I wonder if Brightness setttings...

Samsung 193p work in DOS?

I'm considering buying a Samsung 193p LCD monitor while NewEgg has a $200 rebate on it. This monitor does not have any buttons to adjust brightness, position etc. All adjustments are made through MagicTune software, which only works in Windows. I have a dual-boot system and sometimes I boot...

Can memory modules touch?

OK, thanks guys. Whatever said to "check how warm the RAM gets from time to time to make sure that it isn't overheating from lack of airflow." This sounds like a good idea given the tight spacing between the DIMM sockets and should be easy for me to do since my case has temperature sensors...

What the best 400-450 watt PSU?

daniel1113, how many molex connectors come with the NeoPower 480? I just bought a TruePower 2.0 480 Blue. Has all the new stuff (24-pin power connector, PCIe, SATA and fan-only power cables), but the cables are not modular. The biggest drawback is that it only has two lines of molex connectors...

I have a Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra 9 motherboard and 1GB Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT memory, which is listed as being compatible on Corsair's web site. The memory slots on the motherboard are very close together and when I insert the DIMMs, the clips on the heat spreader touch the adjacent module...

What is the maximum resolution when using a DVI connection for the nVidia 6000 series and Radeon 700 series cards? I looked at both nVidia's and ATI's web sites. They specify a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 but they don't clarify if this is via an analog or DVI connection. I checked some...
