Samsung SSD Usage..growing..why?

That's because it will only update the "Total Bytes Written" if you manually hit the refresh icon located at the bottom of the window, or close and re-open the program (which is what restarting obviously does).

I still got my Sony Trinitron G500, which dad found at a garage sale ~5 years ago for $30 haha. The lady said she paid $3000 for it new.

Monitor refresh rate matters?

I'm still waiting on a decent LCD to replace my 21" Sony Trinitron. Something along the lines of, 23-24" <2ms 120Hz LED 16:10 LCD with minimal input lag. But even then it could have all those specs but still have bad I.Q. Samsung is due to release an updated 120Hz monitor soon, so maybe they'll...

They are all so shaken by the news and performance that they keep missing the Reply button. That, or just waiting for Anand to do another article haha. I'm keen to see the results from one of these drives in the AnandTech Storage Benchmark to get a better idea of real world performance.

My new SSD is unbelievably fast!

Or kind of had the budget but knew that soon enough, prices would drop (and performance/features would increase) substantially, then decided it was too close to the next big jump (Q4 2010/Q1 2011) in SSDs and decided to wait until then :P That and the fact that, that is when I have planned to...

When you say that, do you mean a consumer drive? Since I think Anand mentioned that the enterprise drives will actually have higher performance this time around. But if they will allow the "unlocked?" firmware for a special consumer drive too, that's good to hear! P.S. Thanks for the pics guys!

Best 120Hz LCD?

Some reviews on the recently announced BenQ XL2410T should start to come out soon. That one has 120Hz, 2ms and LED back-lighting. So if it performs well and you don't mind the looks, it could be a good choice. Sadly it still follows the TN/16:9 norm, but that doesn't bother everyone...

http://fudzilla.com/processors/item/20347-sandy-bridge-to-get-usb-30-support So it seems we should be getting both native SATA 6Gbit/s and USB 3.0 support with the new Sandy Bridge chipsets. That would help explain what the "secret hidden feature" is too...

Sandy Bridge architecture overview

I noticed that too. Also it seems to have 4 USB 3.0 ports. I'd say it is because the P67 chipset has full PCIe 2.0 support (5 GT/s), where as the P55 chipset was limited to 2.5GT/s. Anand mentioned it in the Sandy Bridge preview article...

Computer doesn't fully restart - UPDATE: FXIED

Hi everyone, Just a quick question about a small problem I'm having with my new PC (put together myself, not pre-built). The problem is, where ever I am, from exiting BIOS, to a program asking to restart after installation, or even restarting the computer myself, it won't do a full restart...

Best Gaming Mouse Pad? fUnc maybe?

I always used to think a expensive mousepad was overkill and stuck to my cloth mousepad. But one day I decided to buy a $50 (AUD) Razer eXactMat. All I can say now is, I hate using other people's computers. There is so much friction unlike with the eXactMat, which has 2 sides, Rough and Smooth...
