After reading the article my summary is that the AM2 will be better and faster then the 939. Its allready performing on par with the DDR400 s939...
Ure getting a DFI MoBo... Goto www.dfi-street.com and read up on what memory U want. Value as someone suggested is a cheap and good way of buying problems. That Hiper is ok otherwise Id recommend the OCZ Powerstream 520W or the Fortron Blue Storm 550W...
And they are loud... I justz love my OCZ 600W Powesstream... Is beautiful silent and does what I want it to. (No I do not want my PSUs to do lapdances ;) )
Well if U have enough to spring for a 7800... Lets just say that if I could pay that much for graphics I would not try to save 20-50$ on the PSU... Thats buying trouble. Id say Fortron at your price preferences and the go with the Blue Storm 500+

The Scesonic 600 has issues w. the DFI. The Antec isn't good enough especially if ure gonne go SLI and OC. The Modstream is barley good enough get the Power stream instead it isn't modular but better.

A simple rule with OC and fiddling is not to use any software to do it. Go the BIOS way All the way that way Ull reduce the amount of hardware grief since Ure in absolute full control.

Nope... Its in the CPU. Your MoBo has nothing to do with it. The venice bumped 4*512 from DDR333 to DDR400 in 2T. But that still doesn't mean Ull be able to OC. Better idea is to ebay all 4 and to get 2*1Gb if U need 2Gb and 1:1 otherwise there is always the dividers...

7700 Cu and yes it works with DFI allthough last RAM slot is blocked for de/re-install of memory.
Very quiet, keeps CPU very cool. Just be prepared to reinstall HSF everytime u want to move your computer. U do NOT leave it on when transporting.
