LttP is still my favorite console game of all time, followed very closely by OoT. I just bought a Wii last weekend, and I am in the process of beating TP. TP is turning out to be an excellent game though, on the same scale of OoT. Right now I just got to the desert, and need to recover the...
That's crazy, cause everytime I go to Madison that is all there is to do up there :P
But yeah, I haven't gotten drunk in a while... probably about 4 weeks ago when I was last in Madison. I don't get "drunk" too often maybe once a month, but I will drink about once or twice a week.
It's...
Like the OP said, colleges are places of learning and information exchange. We can not prevent this type of thing from happening, and locking down a campus would not only be impossible physically, but would hinder they type of education you get out of it.
All the people that go to college...
The only way this could imaginably happen is if they redid the infrastructure alongside what we have today, a Pipes 2.0 so to say. The internet is here to stay, with the same standards and transmissions, whichever way it may evolve in the future.
Too many things depend on the internet to...
Ohh come on. Get your head out of your ass. You may be well off, and your friends may be well off too without college, but that is out of the norm.
Businesses starting off just want to see that you have a college degree, if not for what you know, but to show that you can manage your time...
woot! That's only 90 miles south of me. I'll definatley be going to the Olympics then!
I was just there last week and saw the Chicago 2016 posters everywhere, happy they got it.
Ok so if some of you have been following what the RIAA has been doing recently, they are targeting universities around the nation. They are especially targeting residence halls around the state of Wisconsin in universities.
Now recently, they targeted Madison, and gave them a list of...
I went through the same exact issues with my parents, especially my dad.
I was around 13ish when I started questioning my beliefs, and I was about 15 when I had completely dropped them. I would now consider myself an Atheist for 4 years now, as I am 19, and I am still interested in the...
Are you doing this from a 64bit enviroment or 32bit? If it is from a 32bit, it will not work, as the executable is not a valid Win32 application, since it was written for x64.
See now if you are at a retail partner of Intel's and you bought the intel Retail Access bundle this year, you do actually get two product keys, each seperate for x86 and x64. I don't know if installing both of them on different machines would violate your license, as I have not read the fine...
We got a spur of the moment Christian Scientist in my class to give us a little presentation and be open for questions, which I was happy about because it pushed my midterm back.
At least the professor is cool and gave us the question ahead of time and is letting us have an outline to bring...
"Hold on guys, just let me attach my camera to my phone" :P
Ahh old phones... I love them. Crazy how much they have changed over the years.
For me, I went from a really old motorola in 2002,, it still had a black and white screen.
I then got a Motorola T720i.
Then got a Samsung...
There already is one, and they are called the Raelians, based out of Toronto, Chicago, and NY.
As for me, right now, finishing college, finding someone to have a mutual relationship with, and of course money.
Ok so I don't know if I am the only one here that this happens to, but I will give it a shot.
Does it seem that street lights turn off when you walk or drive under them at night?
We were talking about this at work today, and someone had mentioned about polarities with the electrical fields...
Nope, not racist at all. As what has been said here, its the context.
This reminds me of a Thanksgiving I had a couple of years ago. I have 2 mexican cousins, and my parents were talking about some people who had moved in across the street. They would always play music really loud when...
Milwaukee has some excellent Fish fry's this time of year. Although I don't observe a religion, I sure as hell love the food :P. I think I am going to get some tonight.
Yeah thats what stinks about his system. Most of my test stuff is is socket 754 and I have an extra AM2 mobo and sempron laying around. But no extra Socket 939 stuff, so its been a long trial and error process.
This computer is for a client of mine. I built it for them about a year ago, so...
Well, I tried different sticks of ram. Tried different slots on the mobo, and nothing. It still does it. Here is a screen shot of the problem. Since the computer freezes, I had to take it with my slr.

Now I did notice that when I ran memtest, there were about 7 errors, that...
Cool, I just started testing this, and the machine will actually load with one stick. I haven't tried the other stick yet to see if it duplicates the problem I was having.
Couldn't be the video drivers... I tried multiple different versions already.
I should of added this, but I have tried 2 different PSU's. One a Thermaltake 550W and a Cool Master 450W. I did this once I switched cases.
I will see if I can get the problem to duplicate again, and I will...
Ok so I have been having this crazy pattern showing up on screen. It looks like a crazt tesalation of the image on the monitor. This problems seems to only happen when I play games. Cliffs are included if you don't want to read the full version.
Originally thinking this problem was caused...
Lets take it a step further then....
If a teacher had sex with a student after they graduated... technically making them no longer students, would you agree? Of course the former student is 18 years old.
I would not give a rats ass about a teacher doing a student, just as long as there...
Like most have said... It's not so much working with my own computers... I love working on my own. It's when friends and family ask you for help.. thats why you must capitalize on the situation!
I die a little bit inside a family member asks for help... especially when they call me at 9am...
Mines running Ubuntu with Apache and I am serving streaming music using Jinzora to my work. Also, it's set up as a Samba server to share files and cd images with my windows machines. This way when I have lan parties and someone forgets a cd we don't have to kill them :P
Yeah I work in Geek Squad right now. It's ok, and I really do like my job. However, they are not to willing at my store to work with hours and such... I am a full time college student too.
I love the discount. It is kinda nice to save a few bucks off cd's and movies, and really cool to...
I just purchased an A8Js last week with XP Pro on it from Newegg. I went with the 32bit version because I know the headaches I had trying to get drivers for the 64bit version of Windows XP. I think Asus's website has most of the 64 bit drivers available for everything for the A8Js though.
I...
Once, last summer. My mom was redoing the wallpaper in the bathroom and was bleaching out a bit of mold that had formed under the wallpaper on the wall with a cotton swab. Well she wasn't wearing any eye protection and some bleach got in her eye. She couldn't open her eye, and I told her to...
These are hilarious! Sounds like some of the things I have done in my past. Now, I'm only 19, but I think I have a few for ya:
Ok so when I was 13 years old I had an obsession with fire, like most people here seemed to have. So me and a couple of buddies are bored one day and come up with...
First time I took a look at the new box was with Office 2007. I looked at it and started trying to pry it open... I didn't see the hinge on the bottom.
I finally started prying it open with a knife until a buddy of mine saw me with my struggle and came over to save me :P.
I wonder if...
DX10 is a completely new software architecture for DirectX. It would be impossible to port to XP, or at least not a wise decision. It is based on the new WDDM, which depends on WDDM Video drivers to be released from manufacturers. The problem with backporting it is that DX10 and WDDM all...
Chicago by far.... FIB's I say! Every day when I go to school through the Marquette Interchange in Milwaukee they are always blasting through the construction like they own the place.
And driving in Chicago... don't even get me started.
