I throw away my flopy about 7 years ago. For mobo bios flas (and also graphic card) I used small (5MB) FAT32 partition.
Well since I dont have any more my small FAT32 partition and even flopy there become a problem.
I have GF 6600. I want to flash it whit Sparkle bios (higer voltage) but...
I have Crucial Ballistix whit timings 2-2-2-6. But there is a problem. It wont run on CPC 1T. Only on 2T. Can i replace it whit another under warranty that wont run on official timing.
I wrote to Crucial if official timing is 1T but no anwser.
Does any company garanty that memory will run on...

Im running on F9 BIOS whit no problem (well except RAM problem. Two sticks; no 1:1 timing)
But I manage to OC it good after 2 months of playing whit CPU burning.

They cost around 70$ and I wont go any higher.

Memory speed is not the problem. You have 500MHz ram, capable of 2.5-3-3 at this speed.
So try: HT change to 3x if this doest work than the new BIOS in not OC-frendly (new stuff does always not meat that is better)
Does this happens only when playing games? I belive that temperature of videocard is the problem.
