the power supply is a modular type and does include 2 6pin PCI-E connectors, but i'm just worried since my cpu does take a bit of power [125w]

monitor question

i have a lcd monitor and i'm wondering if i'll do any harm by never turning off the monitor and leaving it in stand by (orange light) all of the time.

a8n sli deluxe slow bios

i have an asus a8n sli deluxe and everytime i start up my computer the screen is blank for around 10 secondes before the bios beep is there anything i can do to speed this process up. i have tried enabling quick boot etc.

today i got a email from asus and they told me Thank you for contacting ASUS Customer Service. My name is Ailon and I would be assisting you today Sir, the MB temperature mean chipset temperature . You could also entry bios to detect the MB temperture . Best regards !

i think that mosfet is for controlling the fan speeds since that fan plug's speed is controlled by Q-fan.

i found a old case fan and i decided to plug it into my asus a8n sli deluxe but when i plugged it in the black chip burst and part of it came off my computer still works fine but i dont know how long it will last here is a picture pic

wpa psk

when i set my dlink DI-524 router to use wpa-psk it take about 30 secondes for my other computer to connect after xp is booted. but if i used wep i can go on the internet right after xp is booted. is there anything i can do? thx
