HDTV resolutions?

Thanks for the answers, i still think its false advertising, maybe not that but when you go to most stores they don't say the resolution just that it supports 1080i giving a false sense it displays it at true 1080..

HDTV resolutions?

Can someone explain something to me quickly, looking at TVs most have a low resolution, the highest i normally see is 1366x768 that support 1080, its nice that they support that but doesn't it just mean its down scaled to 720? and isn't that kind of false advertising?' like this for instance...

while some do come with software it should not be needed, I had a vision m 30 and now have a vision m 60 and it has mediaexplorer which is nice but is not required you can plug it in and it acts as a drive if you want to change something at someone's house..

upgrading Sblive 5.1 Digital to X-Fi Xtreme for sake of logitech Z-5500. Worth it?

I won't be able to answer the question about the music though I think you will be able to tell a diffrence, but I know it will be better with gaming if you want to bring in EAX especially when games like battlefield 2 support it you will be able to see a big diffrence.

He did try a lower, he tried 75. but I understand you might want lower because you think it will be easier to see. Well while you wait for someone to post their results why don't you try a 75 watt bulb and whatever the first test was and see if yours still dims and brightens, if yours still does...

Are you sure? what did you check. The screw just connects to the box on the inside. the box itself needs to be grounded.. and if it is. you could go to home depot yourself and by three pronged outlets and rewire them yourself. it would be fairly simple or have an electrician do it for you, if...

What size UPS?

That depends, that screw is connected to the box which the wiring goes into. That box is screwed (or nailed) into the stud. So if the box is not grouded and seeing as he doesn't have a ground wire going into there I don't think it would help to do that. I'm curious to where you live and why...

Cannot burn DVD-r +R discs

before anything I'm just making sure your burner is +/- RW... If its just a - RW, then yeah you can burn - and not +.. but also. if it is both. What speed disc are you burning with? if your trying to burn a 4x +r disc at 8x you might have trouble there too.. Try slowing it down and seeing it...
