It says that it will drop 2-5C but I was looking for it to drop more than that, the stock venice cores I have seen run about 10C lower, but maybe I got a lower grade chip since its the cheapest one, what temp in C could I be comfortable with, I am pretty much abandoning overclocking, is 45C...

Burn in wont do me any good, I am running at stock speed, I havent tried OCing yet, I want to make sure this processor is running correctly before I do any of that, any other ideas? Is the PSU a possible problem?

Yes I have reapplied it several times, I used a zalman 7000 series heatsink and fan, and the stock, both resulted the same.

I just built a new computer, athlon 65 3400+ on a socket 754 asus motherboard, with 6600gt as graphics, seagate HDD and rosewill ram. All the Hardware seems to be functioning correctly, however when i put in my windows cd, just about everytime as soon as it gets done anylising hardware...

How large of a power supply do I need?

My power supply that came wiht my case exploded (cheifmax 450W) seemed very cheap anyways as i got it with the case for 36 dollars shipped. But what size would i need to power all this: Gigabyte K8nsPro Mobo 754 3400+ 64 1 gb pc3200 2 seagate 120 GB Hdds 4 case fans ATI X850XT

Need help setting up IDE RAID

no luck with any jumper settings besides 1 master, 1 slave. Then it will let me set up the array, but windows setup wont let me use it because it doesent find it, so ill probly try a different version of the driver, a different floppy too, any other ideas?

I am trying to set up the array, you need to do that first correct? Then do windows, but it only shows one of my 120GB hdds, instead of both of them as options in the raid array menu.

see thats what I dont understand, i had the floppy with the drivers, and hit f6 during the beggining of install and it still says that windows does not detect any hard drives to install on.

Video Card Help

9800 Pro in my new computer, the 9800 is about a year old and everytime I load a game the screen will go haywire and have a bunc of random colors and lines and the game will either freeeze or restart the computer, any help would be greatly appreciated
