I think it depends on what desktop resolution that you are using, my brother's PC and the family PC are connected to an VGA KVM and the quality looks the same with or without using the KVM. However, 1024*768 is being used on both (highest the monitor can go), heard it can be an issue with...

How do I remove 'dual-boot' from a new XP install?

Removing disk passwords on 2000 Adv Server

Seriously Low 12V rail, or just bs?

I think that i'm slightly overloading the psu really, it only has 18A on the 12V Gonna look around for another, may fix some of the crashing probs im getting

Specs are in the sig, The bios doesn't display it, but I installed speedfan for the sake of it, and it says my 12V rail is at 6.57V. I mean surely if it was, I would't be typing at it now?

I have this, Plantronics DSP 500 Link The sounds quality is awesome,and i can wear it all day and its still comfy, cost me £50 Only downside is that its USB , so it cant be used with Stereos, Mp3 players etc Edit: Just noticed you prefered 3.5mm, :o

I purchased a Zalman ALCU VGA cooler, booted the pc, and my desktop is fuull of artifacts, found out that the temps are really high, I looked at the core and the shim seems to be slightly higher than the core. How can I remove the shim?, ive tried using a knife, but it seems stuck down pretty...

Odd temperature readings

ah alright, I cleared the cmos, battey and all, same temps I flashed the bios back to the one that came witht the board, then put the current one on. Now gettin idle of 32, and pwn is 43 (was told it was supposed to be much hotter that the cpu itself) Are these temps real??

I used this FlashMenu,Windows based flash program. if I try again to flash it, it just says you have the latest version, likewise teh bios date on boot up. It must have been working for about two weeks, and yes it was official I'll try and reset the cmos sometime then post back

Odd temperature readings

As you can see in my sig, i have an AMD 64 3400, with an Artic Cooing Freezer 64, When I first built the rig, I was getting idle of 45°C, and full load 65°C, so I reapplied the thermal paste and dropped these temps by about 4-5°C I recently updated the bios, and that gave temps of 33°C...
