Didn't say it was a great monitor - but you won't find a 19" LCD for under 200.00 new without mail in rebates etc. anywhere else that I know of......

Well, I would say that I am getting a new monitor for gaming, but the fact is, I am too old to game anymore, I think. The only game I really still play is a 2d game online called subspace. Anyway, any recommendations? I don't want to bust the bank - about 300 dollars or so with DVI....Nothing...

ASUS A8V Deluxe Freezing

Ironic, I was going to get on the forum and post something related to this. Have you guys all flashed your BIOS using the ASUS Windows BIOS flash tool? There is a new BIOS available. Once I did this, every crash I had experienced in a myriad of applications stopped. I kept getting horribly...

Hey - I have not set the divider to auto yet, but I did update my BIOS to the one that just got released in the end of July and Voila!, my computer is a butt load more stable! I havent played any games yet, but I let Prime95 run all night and it did so without a hitch...It has not run for...

I am having problems with my computer crashing during game play. It runs fine during tests like 3dmark05 (4600) and Aquamark (60,000), but during games it will crash regularly. I believe the problem is with the memory. I do not know what settings to put the memory at in the BIOS. It was set...

By the way, I should mention that when I run tests like Aquamark 3 I get 60,000 plus points and 3dMark05 I get 4600-4800. My system does NOT lock up when I run these tests....It's only when I am playing games... Laudas

Nothing is overclocked. I thought Prime95 was a memory test, is it not? I did change the setting to auto in the memory area... Laudas

My system crashes consistently on games. I tried to run Prime95 to test my memory, thinking it was bad, and Prime95 crashes within about 10 minutes every time. I use corsair value 2.5 3 3 8 and thought it was okay. I also have a Xconnect 500 watt power supply. I can't think anything else...

My ASUSPROB hardware monitor shows me that my AMD 64 3200 running on my A8V-Deluxe motherboard generally runs between 87 f and 91 f. It's a venice core that is not overclocked. Sometimes I get a crash while playing guild wars that says my hardware may be too hot, causing the crash. I do not...

I intend on just using them for gaming, as we have an excellent Hi-def theater downstairs. Has anyone heard of Medusa 5.1? I read an article at Tomshardware.com on these and was surprised they rated better than the Sennheisers.... Laudas
