Looking for a "gaming" mouse pad.

Voted for the Qck, I've had no problems with either of mine. My Qck+ is still in good condition after a year or so now, and the tracking is superb. The DeathAdder will pick up some dust from the pad, but nothing some canned air can't take care of.

Speakers or Headphones?

If I'm just messing around in GTA or listening to music I'll use the speakers, but I use the headphones for everything else.

gtx460 overclocking thread, how high does yours go? with poll

Max I've tried was 890/1782/1960 @ 1.13mv. I didn't want to push it though, last time I did that the card ended up dead in 3 months :) I've settled to leave it at 840/1680/1900 @ 0.975mv, at least until that crappy stock fan dies. Card is a Zotac 460 768mb, runs at a max of 60C in BFBC2:V but...

Will it be easy to transition to a Deathadder from a G5?

It's different at first, but its an easier transition than to a Diamondback or a Lachesis. Personally the mx500 shape is one of the best ergonomic right hand grips for mice out, but I use a Deathadder 3500 because I like the tracking better.

sound card dac question

Well, if you're gaming I would suggest the X-Fi Forte, and if you just listen to music the X-Fi Bravura. Both have built in headphone amps, and personally the Bravura works amazing for gaming on a budget, I bought one a few weeks ago because the Forte was too expensive. Konakona is right...

Well, my first PC had a MX440 in it, but at that time I really didn't know anything about PC's. I just played and enjoyed my slideshow cs 1.6 performance. But the first GPU I picked out and installed myself was a 6600GT. That 6600GT is still running prefectly fine, OCed it and overheated it many...

Old motherboards still doing you proud :)

I had an Asus A8N-E with a 6600GT and 3200+ running 24/7 for 4 years, then sold it to a friend and it still runs everyday. Plays TF2 pretty smooth :P

Did you recently build a "silent" PC?

P180 Black, modded with another 120 mm fan in the top with 5 CM R4 blue LED fans and a Sycthe Ultra Kaze 2000 all hooked up to a Zalman fan controller. It gets loud when I game for more than 20 minutes, but otherwise you can't even hear it.

9550. I had the same decision, but the price gap was $80 and I couldn't afford it, so I'm stuck with a Q8400 OC'ed to 3.5.

CPU HSF Reccomendations needed

The Vendetta or Vendetta 2 will work, I have a Vendetta 2 and when my E5200 was in my PC it could easily hold it at 3.75 with load temps around 63ish.

EP45-UD3R won't boot after BIOS changes

It was the motherboard, it won't run the FSB. I just tested it with a E6300, switched all the RAM and it wouldn't boot into windows.
