Thanks for the info! I had thrown aside my mailing because of the $35 floor, then was dissapointed to find that it still existed after the email came without any mention of a $35 min..

I live in Chino Hills, CA, and I do not have any reasonable DSL or Cable access available to me. I could get IDSL, but the prices are ludicrous.
My cable provider is utter crap. Adelphia. They wouldn't upgrade their infrastructure to support cable internet access even if the FCC mandated...
This interference (which I encounter too and am really annoyed by) could probably be eliminated if we were able to mute the CD input. However, the wav/CD are combined in the volume control, so this is not possible. I hope this particular problem is resolved soon, because it is quite noticable...

It turns out that my order for the receiver was transferred to three different distribution center, and I was charged three times and refunded twice, but I'll still get it in the long run!

I ordered Friday morning and Amazon was kind enough to upgrade my shipping to next-day, so I'll be receiving it later today. Meanwhile, I fear they've cancelled the deal-of-the-millenium $60 receiver. They've added a "Refund" box with the exact $ amount of my order, yet they haven't...
They're pretty slow with their releases... I subscribed to this two years ago and, aside from the two betas (which were the same as issue 1), they've only sent three issues. At least it's free :).

CMPExpress was also the first place I purchased from online about three years ago. I ordered a pair of Cambridge MicroWorks and I recall being very satisfied with both the price and the prompt receipt of the item. Chalk this up as another post in support of this move :).

A few hours ago, I picked up a TiVo (go check yourself - the web site is unreliable - it said my local CC was out of stock, but there were plenty available at the store). Much to my delight, the printer spat out 3 rebates. The first two were for purchases between 9/5 and 9/10 for $100 each...
Where's the La Verne OD? I know there's an Office Max on Bonita Ave, but I don't recall any OD's in the area... The nearest OD to me as far as I can tell is in Montclair on Central Ave. near the 10 underpass.

To Moderator:
Why all the hostility and sarcasm towards the topic I posted regarding hifi.com's promotion? The second link was ON THE PROMOTION PAGE. It may have been a CRITERIA for the discount. If you had taken the time to look at the deal instead of scanning for keywords like...
This takes a bit of work, but...
Check [link deleted] for more details:
Auction off a new or used piece of consumer a/v equipment on *that very popular auction site* (such as a vcr or speaker) and notify Hifi.com when it ends (check link above) for $50 credit off of a $250 purchase.
