Overwatch

Sadly this game is beyond boring for me. I purchased it on release hoping it would bring me back into the world of first-person shooters, but sadly it has not. I guess I will stick with the Dota2s and POEs of the world.

I have yet to have a red map drop. I'm spending approximately 6 chaos (chisels, alch, a few chaos to reroll till I say screw it, and 3c for bloodlines) per map level 9 - 11. Extremely frustrated at the currency investment with zero reward.

How is the single target DPS? I've heard this is a problem with shield charge builds. By the way, I use shield charge as my movement skill and to apply fortify but EQ as my primary DPS.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a certain number of times I should chisel a map? I've actually never chiseled anything. Is it a one time use, similar to alts, chroms, etc? On T9+ maps, first I alch for packsize mods. If I get no packsize mods, then chisel before putting the bloodlines mod...

I'm level 89 for the first time. About to reach 90. I have yet to have a single red map drop. All i've been doing is alching the highest maps I have and running them. Should I start running the bloodlines mod to get some higher maps to drop? When should I chisel these maps?

Buying a new laptop

I may go with the t400...33 percent off right now. As far as the hdd goes, I read somewhere that larger drives at 5400rpm are around the same speed as smaller drives at 7200rpm. And I'd like a lenovo for the durability.

Buying a new laptop

Thanks for the reply, didnt think of that. The only games I'll be playing is diablo3, starcraft2, and whatever other games blizzard decides to release. I just want a very sturdy laptop that can play games with mediocre graphics. I'm currently waiting on the lenovo t500 to go on sale again.

Running two hard drives

I'm running one hard drive on ide channel 2 slave and another master sata. The hd on my sata channel is the one i have my os installed on and such. The other one on the ide channel 2 slave is from another computer. How come I cannot boot into windows with this new harddrive on ide channel 2...

Yes it boots and just sits there. No display on the computer monitor when I boot the computer. Yes the monitor pilot light is on. The computer dosent post. ie beeps. I will try and reset the cmos..see if that works.

Computer will boot but shows no display. I swapped out the ram and videocard, still no good. The CD-rom/fans/hdd works. The computer makes no post. What could this be? Motherboard? Powersupply? CPU? I'ts a Dell 8100.

Bad Pool Caller??

This problem is driving me nuts. Say if I visit youtube and stream a video. If I hit BACK on my browser my computer will restart. Does not always do this, just sometimes. If I'm chatting on Trillian, for some reason it will restart. Right now I cant send a message without it restarting. I tried...

It's not my computer. The internet connection at my old house didnt give me any problems. I had about the same download speeds, and World of warcraft gave me 70+MS. Downloading and surfing the web at the same speed on this new connection, but internet games are just a lot slower.

How come I can download 100+ KB/sec, but when I try to play an online game I get 1000+ms? Even when I had 56k I didnt get this kind of lag in videogames!

Good White-noise machine?

I'm having trouble sleeping due to some unwanted noise, more specifically the bass of people's stereo systems. I was wondering if a white-noise machine would help eliminate some of these noises. I've tried running a fan but I can still hear them. What do you guys think of a machine like this...

After the new motherboard arrived, I took out the old one, removed the cpu, and and noticed the HP board had socket 754 printed on it.

Sorry, the HP motherboard is a socket 754. I just read their website and it said socket A, so I went to newegg, and looked under socket A motherboards, and purchased one.
