Discussion I suck at racing games. Anyone have advice?

Smooth is fast. Smooth braking, turning and accelerating are key to keeping the balance of the car. If you are mashing the brakes/turning in hard/mashing the throttle, the car will never be balanced and will always feel out of place. I see you've started coasting into turns. Very good place...

Have you tried "A Story About my Uncle"? I'm playing through it now and enjoying it. Red Alert 2 Company of Heroes StarCraft 2 Lisa Any free game on Steam (there are tons)...Brawlhalla, etc.

Question How do you find people to play games with?

Hey, it's hard to tell. I'm running two WU's at once on this card. I just took a look at the last 10 WU's to get me between 70 and 90 points and averaged the time it took to crunch them. It's almost exactly 13 minutes on average. Now remember, that's running 2 WU's at the same time though. 13...

My rx580 on Linux is running 6 to 7 minutes per task. I'm running 2 tasks at once. Not exactly what you were looking for, but at least something to gauge by.

Kernel Power = PSU is likely bad. A multimeter doesn't really test a PSU, you need a load tester and a scope, Ideally to see what's happening. If the circuitry is wearing out, excessive ripple in the current will cause instability and harm to your components over time. I had this exact issue...

Those 1070s would scream in Seti on Linux. It's really easy too: Install mint Update Install driver 430 Download the special linux client Extract to Home folder Change settings in .xml to cuda 101 Run boincmgr Login to Seti 1min 30 second Wu's abound! I hope you relinuxify!!

The first one to complete looks like it took 67,000 sec run time and 107,000 sec CPU time. I'm not sure how accurate that is as it was also part of the first batch of 8 that were running concurrently for 12 hours before I made the changes, though. I'll see what the numbers look like and report...
