I don't think nor would I ever expect my employees to train a new person. You either come with the knowledge to start and work the bare minimum and improve as time goes by or you never get hired from the start. Anything else is insulting and manipulative to everyone involved.

It seems the workers rip up perfectly fine streets all the time for no reason. I've heard the laying cables excuse but I don't see them laying cables nor is it necessary to rip up the entire road for such.
During the times I might crave fast food, most of the mcdonalds near me turn into a hangout for homeless or losers sitting for hours with a coffee and a laptop. All the seats are taken and the place smells like urine and feces.
I have no interest in paying close to $10 bucks for a mediocre sandwich. All franchise sub shops have disgusting or skimped meats. Subways veggie delight or BLT suits me just fine.
