NEC Multisync 2490WUXi²

Looking to buy one or two new monitors.. NEC seems to get heavily recommended on this forum and others, but the "WUXi" monitors (2490 and 2690) are no longer available for purchase it seems, and yet I haven't been able to find a single review on the new WUXi² screens.. Whats up with that? :D...

I'm running two monitors on my computer, and recently purchased an SLI setup.. Apparently it doesnt work with dualview (2 monitors).. Anyone know a workaround for this? Is it hardware or driver related?

Thanks for the heads up! That said, I dont really need to increase my FSB to overclock my extreme intel cpu.. And his main concern seems to be high NB temps when increasing voltage to enable higher fsbs?

PWMs to hot. :(

I just now placed a (temporary) 90mm fan about 2 inches above my cpu block.. This lowered the temps on the PWMs from 110 to 60-65 degrees. Very signifiant indeed. So the PWMs are infact located beneath the part of the large passive copper heatsink thats next to my cpu? The monitoring...

If anyone running an Abit IN9 motherboard (or any 680i I guess) could post their PWM temps that would be appreciated. When I google it I get people with temps around 50-60 degrees.. HALF of mine. :( And if someone with an IN9 could tell me exactly where on the board the PWMs are located that...

Problem with NIC(s) on DFI Lanparty UT SLI-D..

Its XP, not sure how to check the event log. Its a quality PSU with 24 pin. Not sure about 4 power connections tho? Theres the 24 pin, a 4 pin and a regular one (similar to the hd connectors).. Didnt see any other ones on the mobo that needed filling. Theres no conflicts under the device manager.

Not using the nvidia or the windows firewall.. I am using a hardware router, but its setup properly as I've been using it for years now.. (I dont have any problems getting online with my other computer either..)

Ok so, to sum it up: If I run 4GB I will be able to overclock roughly the same, but I would have to run 2T, and other then that there wouldnt be any noticable drawbacks?

After reading this board, and having some stability issues, I have decided to dump my Epox and 4GB of (what I thought was good) Corsair RAM, and instead ordered a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-D and 2GB of OCZ Dual Channel Platinum Enhanced Latency (2-3-2-5) or whatever the full name is...

Strange request - a single PC to run *two* Everquest 2 accounts simultaneously

Dont quote me on this but I dont think nvidias SLI solution supports dual monitors.. Also, to get EQ2 running properly on an X2 you have to manually set cpu affinity or it'll cause the game to crash. You might be able to set cpu0 to client 1 and cpu1 to client 2 though, never tried it..

Getting a little desperate. System not stable.

I havent increased the CPU voltage, as I figured that wasnt necessary when I am running it (and everything else) at stock speed. I did try to increase the RAM timings, and also reduce the cpu multiplier to 10X for a while. Tried increasing the RAM voltage to 2.8 and 2.9 with no apparent effect...

EPoX "EP-9NPA+Ultra" NVIDIA nForce4 ULTRA Chipset Motherboard

Well I bought 4gb of Corsair RAM now so buying more memory is out of the question. :D Might replace my mobo AGAIN though if the DFI causes problems. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.. I should add that I have been having some other issues with the Epox mobo, like the cpu temp thingy...
