But different departments, akahai. Hey, one can only hope it is a "left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing." But with puters, the probability of success for all three is low.
scracer, I am thinking the same thing. What I am going to do is send all rebates in separate mailings. Of course, would have to with two of 'em. Should at least get two approved anyway. So still a good deal.
BTW, the P/N on your drive, when you get it, will indicate whether you get fluid bearings. My drive P/N is MX6L040J2. The "J" indicates a non-fluid bearing drive. If the "J" were an "L", it would be a fluid bearing drive. Happy hunting!!
When I ordered online, the coupon did not take, but I called a CSR, and she said enter the 20 off 75 coupon info in the comments section, and it should get processed accordingly. I received the drive, an ATA133 L01J040G in 3 days, even after an backordered status. Having no indication whether...
Just a point to make about the "purchase" date when ordering on-line. The date of purchase at a B&M is the date you bought it simply because you are there and can physically receive it and carry it out the door, thus the transaction is completed. The purchase date for an on-line purchase is...
I agree wholeheartedly that these butt heads are the worst. I had a run-in with them 7 years ago in Dallas, during an in-person inquiry about a product I wanted to buy. The customer service dickhead was totally disrespectful. I would bet that they train employees to be pure aholes. They...
Ordered mine 2 days ago, and received it today. SystemWorks 2001 installed flawlessly on my WinME system. Other stuff I ordered said Not For Resale, but all worx fine. Good deal dude!!
Just got off the phone with Tech Support. They will give me Win2k, no questions asked, essentially. Just told them that WinME on my i8000 was freezing every now and then. I like my i8000, and don't feel the sturdiness of the case will matter that much, since one should be careful with puters...
I installed my 700 cb0 tonite and it is currently running stable at 938 on my BE6-II.. But get this, it failed at 133 FSB. Others have noted this too, where it fails at 133, but runs fine anywhere else. I'm currently at 134, and will try the magic 1045 Mhz, which others are running at. I have...
My GTS came today!! From Seattle. Will be installing that baby right now. Replaced the cheapo tape with the grease. Anyone know what the memory chip speeds are? I see they also taped the memory chips, and no clamps to hold 'em on, so I didn't yank mine off.
I ordered mine on May 27th. Called Wed. They said that mine would ship on Thursday from CA. I called today to make sure it had shipped. Now they say it will ship today from Tennessee. I don't dare call tomorrow!!
Beware of the maintenance kit costs. These printers are very nice, and they don't give 'em away for nuttin. They WILL get there profits somewhere else. Sounds like the FREE computer deals with Compuserve, What a rip!
