    As one person mentioned but a S1 on your 8800GT and then slap a nice Noctua 120mm on it and replace all your case fans with more Noctua's and you will be cool and quiet. You pay more for these fans, but I love'em and they are great.

    Beside Zalman, Enzotech make some nice passive coolers. I am not a fan of 40mm fans :) Way tooo loud for my liking. If you can get a nice 80mm Noctua...you will get cool and quiet.

    I would throw in tha new Zalman GS1000. Cosmos is awesome and if you don't build with it again I would look at this one. I really like mine and there is a lot space and I think it met most of your criteria. My 2 cents.

    Quiet 120mm case fan & CPU heat sink recommendations??

    It is a sweet looking unit that is for sure. Noctua's are just my favorite, but if they have Scythe, Yate Loon, any 'higher end' fans, you can't go wrong. I am just not a fan of a $5 fan IMHO. Happy shopping.

    I don't think you can get much better for the price even if it is not an issue. Xigmatek S1283 and upgrade the fan. I have the Noctua. Most Thermalright units are good. Zalman is a standard, but I don't like the noisy fan. My two cents.
