My drive came UPS as well yesterday via UPS. Obviously the UPS guy didn't ask for a coupon. It is a rebadged Liteon; even says liteon on the drive and in Windows. Great deal IMO.
Yup I just called and got a different CSR person. The drive is slated to be delivered on the 26th, and they said I would have to show a printout of the coupon. I am hoping that the page on the Officemax site is sufficient otherwise I guess I get stuck with a rather lukewarm deal.
To be honest I left the drive there because they wouldn't honor the online coupon code without a printout of the original (which I didn't have :( ). The box clearly said 16mb buffer on it, and I cannot recall whether it said exaclink or not. If someone can produce the coupon page via PM I will...
No dice with the 1-800 number. I was told it was in store only and that they would accept the online coupon if you brought it in. Maybe they decided to pull the deal from phone orders since everyone was using the coupon code? My store has 18 in stock but I won't have a car until after noon so...

pull the CMOS battery for about 30 minutes. It really sounds like the bios got fux0red. I have never heard of permanent damage resulting from fsb overclocking.
As far as manufacturers not implementing it, I would guess that for VIA chipset motherboards it was primarily because the KT266 came out before desktop Palominos (at least I think that is right) and then for the KT266A mobos they are basically the same motherboard as the KT266 with a new...
In all fairness, Mike, the Asus CPU probe is without a doubt the worst of its type. If you look at the graphs:

from the point that the CPU was idled with WPCredit there is a 10 C offest roughly. That means Asus is trying to...
I called every Target within 100 miles of me (northern Delaware). All were $249.99. But Compusa has a 10% off store special today where everything is 10% off, and staples.com DID honor that. Total was $185 with a $50 rebate or $135 final price. Not quite as good as $107, but I was planning...
