Is it true that the 144 socket 939 Opteron's are exactly the same as an A64 San Diego??

Hello, I have a tube of AS5 that has been in my desk for around 8 months, every 2 or 3 months I have used it a little, so I would like to know if it's steel good or if it might have lose some of it's heat transfer capacity?? thanks.

what does "pretty much a lock on" means?? I am from Brazil, portuguese speaking :P well, I did some research in its full TAG and apparently it's not a good one, week 17 is an superb week, but the rest of the code (GPIW) is crap, well, the guy who is selling it did achive 2500mhz with 1.40 volts...

hummm what I can see is that the E6 are not as good overclockers as the E3 were... and also, for just a 5 USD difference I think the 3200+ is now a much better offer than the 3000+, but I dont know, perhaps the 3200+ will not even reach 2700mhz! what do you think?

humm... is your 3000+ E6 also?? from ewiz?? I think perhaps you should do some tests with a little more voltage in the 3200+, sometimes that's all it needs to overclock good and become stable

well I do play games sometimes, specially Age of Empires 3 that is comming I will play a lot, I also used to convert videos and stuff and I like a fast computer, dont like waiting for windows, hope that helps.

One thing I would like to know, do anybody know abou this new board MSI K8N Neo2-F ??? there is the Platinum that is know to be the best 939 / AGP board, but it cost around 50 USD more, so there is this new Neo2-F, but nobody knows about this board, so Im afraid it could be just like the NF7S-2G...

Well, those Sempron's 64 bits are knows to overclock a lot, also the Sempron uses a 10 multiplier, so when you have 300 HTT you have the Sempron at 3GHz, while the Venice would be at 2,7 ghz. Also, we could replace the Sempron 3400+ with a 3100+ and that would mean a 30-40 USD less price.

A64 questions - I'm still in the AXP-M arena

Well, I will certainly not keep these Ballistix, mostly because I will not move to the A64 in the next 6 monts - 1 year, and memory is very important in the AXP, so I'm really considering the OCZ 4000VX Gold mostly because it's covered all the way up to 3,5V +5%, so I can use everyday at those...

ok but the gold you are talking about is the 4000 VX, so it's a very hand-picked one, maybe we should compare the pc3200 VX with the PC3200 gold (wich uses BH-UTT) to make a more fair comparation.

well, if you remember the OLD CH-5 and old BH-5, BH-5 was much better than CH-5, so I think the same should apply here, I would like to know how many of the PC3200 GOLD wich uses BH-UTT are hitting 250mhz, any ideias?

Ok, I have been reading for an hour now, and most of my question have solved out... all the VX line is CH-UTT as you have said, and the first memory (Gold) is BH-UTT... now the question is: what is better, a 4000VX covered 3.5 volts +5% or a 3200 BH-UTT covered at 3.1 volts +5% ???
