Samsung does have an option buried in the settings to limit the maximum charge level to 85%. Other phones may have a similar setting. This "always plugged in" usage pattern is one of the rare scenarios where it makes sense to enable that setting.

That's an international phone. Don't buy that for use in the USA - especially if you hope to use it with Verizon or AT&T. There is no US version of the A73 but you could go with an A53.

Future of long-lasting batteries

All of that would be great - if the phone manufacturers would retain the same battery size. But they likely won't. They'll make the phones even thinner, with smaller batteries. Thin sells. But I hope that consumers will eventually recognize that thinner isn't always better.

How safe is it to use a SD card for storage?

If it's for read-only use then they're reasonably reliable -- but I'd still keep a back-up. If it's volatile data that will be written or over-written frequently then performance will be much slower and definitely keep frequent back-ups.

Windows for Workgroups? Ha. There are still PDP-11s out there, running mission critical software at nuclear plants and elsewhere. But those have less general-purpose software on them, so may be less hackable than WFW or XP.

You probably have the aggregate volume of the two subs turned up WAY too high. Many do this because they want to hear subwoofer action from everything - even when it isn't supposed to be there. I'd rather have accuracy to the source.
