i got this list fri. when bb had the good sales i can be downloading to the hd fine ... but if i do something intensive like extracting or unraring a big movie or game, it makes a clicking sound and then freezes up my comp dunno wtf to do abit kt7a tbird 900 @ 1000

picked up this board from the good best buy deals :) installed it and everything is going fine i got the newest dets, win2k, tbird 1ghz, abit kt7a but it seems in quake 3 ... whichever res i always max out at 90fps at 640x480 i get from 80-90 fps and i get the same in 1024x768 and 1280x1024 when...

check out this its a program called tmpg and you can load an ntsc format mpg and convert it to pal (or vice versa) by clicking the load button on bottom right. then choose whichever format.

quick question. Can i use a 1 ghz 266 fsb in a 200 fsb motherboard??

you can but itll only run at 200. its just like ram. you can buy pc133 and put it on a 100 board but itll only run 100.

linksys router dcc on irc problems

well i got back on mirc and tried it ... apparently sending/receiving works but it doesnt work with dcc bots. i tried getting some packs from one in #rns and #ksifiles and itll send about 20 k then stop sending any data.

i have a gf2mx and tbird 900 (nothing OCd) and i tried max payne today and when i tried hardware t&l it rebooted so i tried software and it worked fine. idunno if that was a fluke but according to this hardware t&l is supposed to be supported by the gf2mx. so is it supposed to do it or...

anyone know why I would only get 1037 marks on 3dmark2k1 with a hercules gf 2mx on 12.41 det drivers with a tbird 900@1050mhz stable... also ... i noticed that under wcpuid ... next to agp it says disabled?????? i have an abit kt7a and under the bios it is enabled so i dont know what that is...

i have a plextor 12x10x32 and i want to buy a pioneer 105s which is does 16x dvd and 40xcdrom. i was wondering whether if i bought it and put it on a separate ide channel i could burn cd to cd at 12x?? :confused:

ive never ran at 100 fsb and ive tried voltages all the way up to 1.85 and my agp is on 2/3 not 1/1. i get about 24-25 deg. celcius temps.
