Heh... :D
Apparently, people are having great success with it on the official forums, and it looks like just too much fun to pass up. I'll give it a shot, at the very least!
Charge! :awe:
When I first saw this thread title, I thought SS stood for Social Security. I was like, "WTF? That doesn't make any sense!" :P
Go and say hi!
"Read my lips: Fuzzy's Pizza is awesome." ;)
Looks like the whole "Health Care Summit" was a sham after all:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0210/33510.html
After a brief period of consultation following the White House health-reform summit, congressional Democrats plan to begin making the case next week for a massive...
Nice. I wonder what it looked like? I wonder if the game engine could handle it, or if it ended up looking extremely awkward.
Speaking of rogue videos, I remember watching a video (a long time ago) of a level 10 Rogue soloing Van Cleef. He had so much dodge that VC could never even hit him...
I am well aware of that fact. I was just thinking of a hypothetical situation where a DK would use Unholy Presence in a Frost DW build to get an insane swing speed just for kicks.
Now that would be awesome. A game so bad that the developers know it and put in something like MST 3000 that mocks how bad the game is, thus making the game almost worth purchasing just for laughs. :D
Beat it on Insanity the other night with my Soldier. Hardened Adrenaline Rush + Revenant AR = win
Tried an Engineer run on Insanity, and it just doesn't work for me. I don't want to hide behind cover and launch powers at people...I want to run and gun! :P
I'm tempted to try a Vanguard...
Yes (I have one but he is only level 72), but can they attack that fast? I mean, just by doing napkin math, a DW Frost DK in Unholy Presence will swing 55% faster plus whatever Heroism adds on. :P
So that means a Frost DK can swing 40% faster (20% personal + 20% raid buff)...couple that with Unholy Presence and Heroism... :o :awe:
Can the game even show someone attacking that fast? :D
I don't know about "rock", but DK DW DPS will actually be playable for the first time since the days...
Posting "lol" then a random wiki link doesn't leave a whole lot of room for interpretation. It sure sounded like you were trying to dismiss my numbers; numbers which turned out to be true. All I was doing was validating my claims and that my numbers weren't just randomly pulled out of the air...
I hear that it is a circus.
However, those emails/memos showing Toyota bragging about saving $100 million by delaying/ignoring the defects are pretty condemning. "Toyota Safety Group - Wins" or something similar to that is what it was called.
Uh...what? CC (his location is shown as Denver so I assume Denver, CO) lives in Colorado (#41 on the list), I believe (IIRC from previous threads) that Genx lives in Minnesota (#46 on the list) and I live in a state that is in the bottom 20 (pays more than a dollar and receives less than a...
My numbers were close to the average, as proved by the study, hence, not "anecdotal" but true AKA facts.
I already discussed single coverage with Genx87 multiple times in the thread. The single member insurance plans are also listed on the link to the study I provided. Yes, they...
Okay, with this I would agree. It just sounded like you were playing the typical, "But the Republicans...!" card that gets played often around here.
I would disagree that the Republicans are "abusing it worse", but I do agree with that these partisan politics need to stop for anything to get...
Gotta love how the Dems weren't "abusing" it in the past, but "dem dere ebil Repuglicants!"
Pro tip: The Republicans couldn't filibuster anything until Scott Brown was seated. So that means a year of a Democrat filibuster-proof majority. The Republicans never had a...
If I'm reading that chart correctly, then the states at the top are spending more than they're paying, and the states at the bottom are paying more than they are spending?
If that's the case, then it's surprising to see Florida and Texas near the bottom of the chart at 34 and 35 respectively...
I can't tell if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me, but I'm sure the study took into account people who pay very little/nothing for insurance and people who pay more/a lot for insurance to come up with the average.
I was just posting proof to back up my claims that my numbers weren't...
I agree. I've heard that the game will switch between 1st and 3rd person. That sounds goofy, but we really haven't seen much of the game to know for sure at this point.
Excellent article on the difference between Reconciliation and the "Nuclear Option":
http://www.opencongress.org/articles/view/1249-Budget-Reconciliation-is-NOT-the-Nuclear-Option
Lots of things I did not know in there, especially the part about the Parliamentarian of the United States Senate...
Ah...the "Faux News" deflection.
http://mediamatters.org/research/200908190017
Echoing Fox News' Bill Sammon and Sean Hannity, CNN hosts Anderson Cooper and Kiran Chetry both falsely compared Senate Democrats' potential use of the reconciliation process to pass health reform...
Hi, the Dems were the ones originally whining about the nuclear option being "the end of Democracy" who are now threatening to use it to pass "health care reform", which has nothing to do with the budget.
Thanks for playing though.
Biden's clip was classic. He said something to the effect of...
Rush is playing clip after clip of Dems railing against "Republican power grabs by using the nuclear option" a few years ago. Biden, Billary, Reid, Chuck U. Schumer, Chris Dodd (Friend of Angelo), Diane Feinstein, Max Baucus, etc. It's just one after another. Hilarious stuff.

"The average cost of a family policy offered by employers was $13,375 this year, up 5% from 2008, the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Health Research & Educational Trust survey found. By comparison, wages rose...
You are assuming things from examples I provided in a past thread. It is not a good idea to assume. I fail to see what my (assumed) situation has to do with this discussion, however.
Again, I can fairly confidently say that your situation is atypical to the average middle class American...
I'm not sure what case you were making. You claimed my numbers weren't "typical" for your average middle class American family. I would reckon they are.
I would say that your situation is atypical. $17 a month for a "Cadillac" plan? Must be a public sector union employee.
Are...
I bet Super Mario Galaxy will still remain at $50 even well after Super Mario Galaxy 2 is released.
Both of these games I am somewhat interested in, but we shall see...
Yet I would have to shell out $189 plus whatever the DSi XL exclusive accessories will cost, and take a big loss on the DSi + accessories I already invested in just so the system would be comfortable to use. No thanks.
This is what...the fourth version of the DS? It prints money! D:
Screw Nintendo. I dropped $169 + a bunch for DSi exclusive accessories less than a year ago, and now they're going to come out with yet another DS model.
