Are you for real...this is the worst idea. Just find a cheaper apartment. Living with a co-worker is a bad idea because you will see this person 24 hours a day. When things are good it doesn't matter but eventually when you start getting sick of each other you can't escape the problem...
You shouldn't feel guilty. If you can't keep your cost structure down you will end up going out of business. Then all of your other employees will be out of a job.
