Scary Stuff - Warning to all A64 - 939 users

yea i just had to remove the old heatsink today took alot of twisting and i got it off. However half the thermal pad was still on the chip, but it did not come outta the socket. I was using a 3000+ maybe its different with x2's

Can an LCD suffer burn-in?

Burn in is caused by the black bars, cuz thats where there is no color and the guns arent being worked. Thats y they sometimes they put gray bars instead of black ones. I dont think that would be caused by the start menu bar and such.

Why don't they make the widescreen LCDs 16:9 ratio?

im pretty sure that the 1.85:1 movies can be displayed 16:9 without black bars. I think its stupid making movies in ratios that would cause the black bars

DVI Cables

I dont know if that would work. DVI-A is an analog signal just using a DVI cable, it shouldnt work with regular DVI-I or DVI-D. DVI-I is the one without the dots. I remember when i tried to get DVI to work on my computer when i got a new LCD i had to install some new drivers and even then i...

trouble with temps

I was thinking maybe just get some artic silver 5 and then use the same heatsink just with the new thermal grease. Is this a good option?

That looks nice but my chipset has integrated graphics so I cant use that also I am working on an mATX mobo so i dont know whether that would fit or not any other recommendations, I really have no idea wut to do

Hey Guys, I recently loaded the half life demo on my computer, played it for about 2 hours last night, went to play it today and it crashed so i installed the program that came with my jetway A210 GDMS motherboard to check the temps every time i enter any game now my temps on the northbridge...

NTFS or FAT32

Hey thanks for all the responses, I am using WIN2K, so is NTFS still good for that, also yoyoyo was right I am using integrated graphics so its using 64mb of the memory thanks again guys,

well i could understand .4bg or even a 1gb, but its missing 20gb, thats too much to be a simple discrepancy.
