I'm going home at the end of today for the long weekend, and while I'm home I figured i'd try and set up one of the spare computers to do stuff that I can't do on campus. I've researched, and found that I need a remote desktop manager and the capability to wake on lan. What i'm wondering...

making a usb stick AWESOME

My university's computers struggle, and only have basic IE installed with the bare minimum of programs, and no network drives for students, so.... I'm wondering if its possible to use the usb stick they gave us (256mb) to load up on apps and stuff that would run off the stick rather than the...

I don't really know how to explain this too well. I'm messing around with stylexp but I assume i'd need litestep to get this working, but what I want to do is have just a straight windows desktop with whatever theme, but I want to be able to make "containers" for the icons. I think the closest...

well the thing is it has to be agp. i know pci-e is wave of the future blahblahblah but i JUST got my motherboard in january, and I don't want to upgrade it AGAIN.

yeah i'm shooting for about a 2 year lifespan i mean i keep hearing great things about the x800, but i'm just really hesitant. d**n me for buying the rage fury maxx... bahahha.. well that and my nforce based motherboard... what kind of performance could I expect out of the 6600GT...
