Have a little problem here with a new router. I m connected through Ethernet to the router and get disconnects every 24 hours. Only 2 - 3 seconds but it is bugging the crap outta me.

Diamond are the same cards almost any other company has. As for right now i assume they are build by Sapphire PBC's and Chips provided by AMD. I don't think any of the manufactures makes their own Boards as of yet so at this point I really don't think it matters what HD 5850 card you will be buy...
I would want to recommend a budget board here. That might give you some more bucks to invest in video or cpu.

I paid $249 for that card by HIS. The card is worth the money no doubt but the every retailer raised the price because of supply and demand. The MSRP for this card is $249.99. So if you can't wait i would go for it otherwhise you might wanna wait.

Got the Penryn in today, I m sure the mod works just not with the Dell. So no 3.2ghz for me i keep the Q6600 and will not bother anymore because 2.66ghz vs. 3ghz 12mb vs. 8mb isn't worth $100 of upgrade.
The reason is i m to lazy to do a new build and I m almost sure after bios update the Inspiron 530 takes those cpu's just fine....

People who are bashing the 256bit versions simply don't know what they are talking about. My overclocked 256bit outperformed my overclocked HD 3870 with the lag of DX 10.1 and DDR4. Yes the 256bit does consum more power then the HD 3xxx Series but nicely not as much as the 512bit Version...

LOL I m not sure if i can believe that yours shipped yet, since my exerience with buy.com was never that they shipped the same day i ordered. But if yours shipped that would be nice, good thing i don't have the need for that card i m very satisfied with my HD 3870.

If I understand that right though the Soyo is a 8bit panel and the Acer only a 6bit panel. @MyStupidMouth looks like you got one bad right out of the box. Happened to me before with Sceptre.
