NTFS conversion - how will this affect burning files for use on FAT32 system?

You can safely convert to NTFS. It doesn´t matter what filesystem your harddisks have, cd´s will use CDFS (CompactDiscFileSystem). Futhermore ther will be no effects to your email-attachments either...

If you don´t have Ghost or DriveImage, this could maybe help you out: HDCOPY Haven´t tried it myself though.

Nope, it won´t. As always though; having a recent backup is always recommended. Several advantages. The most obvious is the ability to add security to files and folders. I don´t think that you will be able to tell any difference, it can be faster under NTFS in some conditions... I don´t think...

Promise ATA 100 and data corruption.

Create PM boot discs (2 floppy discs) and boot with them. You can do almost everything from that interface as if it was installed under w9x/w2k. Works fine for me using PM 5.01

Why does after an Active Directory install, the reboot to "Preparing Network Connections" take forever (10-20 minutes) ?

Never ever took that long time for me if everything was set up correctly. I think you have some DNS problem. Make sure that the NIC points to itself in DNS properties and that it registers itself in DNS.

How to back up 6 computers all at once using an "Imager" program ie Ghost or DIP

Can you recommend a high-quality/good set of KVM cables for me?

I always recommend to not buy KVM switches! Why? You got the answer; degradation of picture quality and some other side effects as "laggy" keyboard. Much better to use some remote software. Anyway i think yuor screens ghosting will recover some if you lover the rr to 85hz.

Win2K: Is it possible to remove the "share hand icon" on a folder or file & still have it shared across the network?

Why??? Anyway. All folders are shared to admin´s on the network and they connect to it using the $ sign i.e: \\compname\foldername$ This way you don´t have to share the resources and no hand are there ;-)

Naa... If you write zero´s to your harddrive one time, there must be some extreme recovery agency to actually recover anything from that drive! Write zeor´s one time and you can rest assured that no ordinary data freak can recover that...

No it doesn´t contain that info :( But that shouldn´t be any problems since you can export that to! Open up your account manager Tools->accounts an choose the e-mail tab, from there click export, choose your connection and save it. It will create a file with the .iaf extension (InternetAdressFile)

Why don´t you just export the *.pst file and choose what folders to keep (mail, contacts. e.t.c.)? There is an import/export wizard that lets you to do this. No problems to import it back later on under w2k. You´ll find it under "file->import/export".

Calculating Uptime

I have never tried Millenium and i don´t think i´ll ever do;) But if it has some similaritis with w2k and if you have a NIC then you can look in the properties of that connection to se the uptime for the NIC that normally should be the same as the system uptime.
