I'll be hitting the local OD this afternoon after work. Hopefully they won't question the PM, if they do, I'll probably say, "well I already bought one and submitted the MIR, therefore I can't get the $60 off again..." and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

Aww...the gigabye boards are oos. And I don't trust the biostar or the pc chips ones. Guess I'll have to wait until they're back in. All word on this cpu so far make it sound like a dream for its price!

I really do want a quiet PSU, so that's important. I want to reuse that and the Lian-Li in the future, so I don't mind investing now: those needs will never change. Is the video card really not that great? I don't want to pay for top of the line; just as long as it works pretty well...

which RAM with this mobo? (EP-9NPA+Ultra)

Looking at the EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX. Had a good EPoX experience before. I think I'll be slapping in a 3000+. I want to have 2gb of RAM, but don't know which brand, etc to go with (Crucial is too expensive this time around @ ~$350). EP-9NPA+Ultra

waiting just under a month to build: huge difference?

I built my first pc 3 summers ago (2100+, 8kh+ (?), 512 crucial, 4200gt, enermax whisper eg465p-ve, etc) and I want to upgrade/rebuild soon. It seems there are a good amount of 'hot deals' going on (was spying the venice 3000+ over at newegg), but I was considering waiting until I was back on...
