Simple solution to making Battlefield 2 run smoother?

Do you have your "My Documents" somewhere else other than the default location? Or use a reaaaalllllyyyy long username? Because my shader cache path is 'C:\Documents and Settings\gary\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache'. Something close to that shouldn't be too long for XP to recognize...

BF 2

Probably not. I have a 128mb 6800nu and I never drop or crash out of BF2 servers. Ok, perhaps never is a strong word; it happens maybe once every 2-3 weeks.

Yes. The file is probably irretrievably screwed. Unless the content is incredibly important to you, delete it and move on. Sorry to sound to smartass, but sometimes you just have to cut your losses

How can I save an image of an entire screen within a web browser?

Create a PDF of the page with Acrobat; it'll get the whole page. If you have to have an image, open the PDF in Acrobat and save a a jpg.
