Hello all.
I just got a Dell 9300 the other day, and I have noticed there is an awful lot of light leakage near the bottom of the panel. Basically when there is supposed to be a black image, the bottom of the screen always has a greyish appearance!!!
I am just wondering if there are many...
To disable the onboard sound, you just go into the BIOS, and i think it's usually the "Integrated Peripherals" menu (if you have Award BIOS). It's usually an option like "Onboard AC97 codec" or something like that (dependent on the onboard sound type).
RAID controllers shouldn't have any real problems handling single drives (i used to have one running alone on a RAID controller), but the biggest problem seems to be that they will need drivers for the card so they can be found. I did have strange problems running from the RAID controller...

If that doesn't help, you should try unplugging anything unnecessary...
Sometimes when you format the drive, you can't actually entirely use up all the space on the drives due to file system limitations or size issues. In some cases it will generally leave some space unformatted (2 of my drives have ~20MB unallocated that i can't use).
Using something like...
