    Reviving this to state that the fix posted above still works. I just got this bug out of the blue the other night and it was driving me crazy. I could not see the other tabs and so could not switch to headphones. Disabling the HDMI that I don't use anyway did the trick! On Win 7 64

    I did mine through Ebay and got a 1 year warranty from Mwave, since I bought it from their Ebay store. $384 shipped + $20 mail in rebate =$364 for a 4870x2 + 1 year warranty not bad :)
