Thermalright SI-128?

the heatpipes on that thing are 8mm wide, now, that seems BIG to me. I'm picking one up and putting the xp90 with the 120mm on my vid card.

Zalman VF900 Cu review @ tweaknews

it costs as much and even more than top of the line CPU coolers. I'd rather get a xp90 for $30 and mod it to fit the card rather than the vf900. It would most likely cool a lot better as well.

Question for AC Freezer 64 PRO Owners...

Well, I went with AS5 instead. The little lever to tighten everything down ios very poorly constructed. When tightened, it isn't at a 90* to the board, it's sort of crooked, so it actually rests on the bottom few fins of the heatsink.

I'm gonna leave the mx-1 on as it's supposed to be better than as5 with this cooler. I did just order the 22g tub of ASC just in case.

Is it possible to fit a 120mm Yate Loon fan on an XP-90?

I use a 120mm fan on my xp-90. As long as you have a 120x25mm fan it will fit just fine using the stock 80mm fan clips.

xp-90 with 120mm delta here, idles at 21*c currently, 3*c above room temp.

Fortron PSUs loud? Fan swap?

I hope you know that you won't get official DFI support if you use that PSU. For $25 more you can get the FSP550-60PLN which is a server PSU and it will power anything you throw at it, anything. I have it and the rails are so stable it's ridiculous.

There are no modifications needed, none. You clip on the 80mm fan brackets into the very top holes on the heatsink, you place the 120mm fan on top and then you secure the clips. You must use a 120mmx25mm fan. Unless you actually tried it and can prove it doesn't work why are you even replying? I...

Oh really, do you want to see a 120mm fan on my xp90 being held on with stock clips? If you don't know the facts keep quiet. If you want it cool and quiet get a 120mm fan, even a cheap 50-60cfm fan will cool great, plus it cools most of the mobo at the same time.

Anyone try the ViewSonic VA1912wb yet?

I'm sure those are only for using the d-sub analog output. The benq I just got for a friend is the same way, I can't use auto image centering and adjust when usinf DVI.

Zalman VF900 GPU heatsink

Mine's idling at 29* right now, of course it gets to 60* at load so I need a cooler. I want to wait for the new sink but not knowing how much it will be or when it comes out makes me want to get a vf700 right away.

Opteron idle temp

The zalman is a pretty poor cooler when compared to the newer coolers. I'd say your temps are off by around 10*c.

Those are horrible temps, just awful. Dude, when your idle temp doubles at load it means you have something really wrong somewhere. Unless your idle temp is is between 10 and 15*c that is.

XP-90 to SI-120, 2* difference?

Why would you even put load on your CPU wtih a 49*c idle temp? That is just stupid cause you know that even the best coolers will not keep it under the 55*c "safe" temp. On the other had I figure that your temp readings are bad. If the heatsinks were really that bad or the contact was bad, your...
