Thanks for the info! If I have to use Edge/IE I'd rather upgrade. I pretty much live in the Google online ecosystem. But yeah I'll try it in Edge tonight and try to narrow it down. Although part of me wishes it doesn't work so I can justify an SP4. :|

Hello! Have a question for everyone. I have a SP3 base model (i3, 64gb, 4gb, etc). Should I be able to stream 4k Youtube videos without stutter in Chrome? On my iMac I can easily stream 4k/60fps with no problem (75mbps cable line) but on the SP3, 4k is an unwatchable stutter fest, and 60fps...

Judging from screenshots, maybe a Zune clone as I think it more closely mimics the Windows phone aesthetic and polish.

bringing your own towels/washrags on a trip = so reassuring

I've always dreaded using hotel cloths as well, but for a different reason: they're usually so bleached and dryer baked (presumably in an effort to completely sanitize them) that they're incredibly stiff and feel like sandpaper!

Most streamlined music player for Android?

I'm really surprised that not many people use ZPlayer. It's an amazingly designed, intuitive and beautiful player. I've always used it and am baffled that anyone would use anything else; every other player I've seen is either hideous or slow.

What cloud storage service do you use?

I use Dropbox because my storage limit is ridiculously high now. This is due to my constant buying and selling of phones and tablets LOL. There's typically some sort of offer that gives you more storage with purchases.

Why does Costco inspect your receipt and items at the exit?

I believe there was a case awhile ago with Fry's Electronics being sued for checking receipts at the door. Fry's lost. I for one refuse to have my receipt checked at ANY store regardless of what I bought. I refuse to be treated like a thief after paying good cash for goods.

New Amazon Device, June 18th

I'm pretty sure it'll be available on Amazon unlocked, full price. I'd like to think Amazon has enough foresight and common sense to do this. It does support Android apps, but not all. Quite limited in what is supported actually, if the Fire tablet was any indication.

pls share if you've ever had a floor jack fail

I've been working on my own cars for 10 years with only jacks, stands and wheel chocks. I use quality over-spec'ed jacks for the cars and chock all touching wheels. Just use common sense. I do however use stands for ANY time I directly lie down under the car. I don't roll the dice with that...

+1 for a cash transaction AT or IN a bank if the amount is over 10k. Less than 10k, I'd say a very secure public location.

Logitech z5500 sub magnets - computer hazard?

Logitech z5500 sub magnets - computer hazard?
