Sata disk instalation problems

hello, i`m having trouble with installing winxp sp2 on abit kv7, firstly it couldnt recognise WD sata 80gb disk, and with seagate it shows bluescreen on xp instalation when it should start copying files. I flashed the bios, seagate tools says therese nothing wrong with disk, i even tried loading...

Does NCQ really matters that much?

Can somebody tell does NCQ realy speeds up transfer rate? What exactly does i t do? And do you now does WD 200GB SATA II has NCQ?

SDR and DDR ram compatibiltiy

Heya, I got old MSI KM2M Combo with VIA VT8235 chipset, and it has two SDR and two DDR slots. I wonder will both SDR and DDR work good together or should i use just DDR? If i use slower SDR will it downclocks faster DDR? Thanx :)

Kingmax SD Platinum 1GB

I`m planning to buy this memory card and i`m wondering is it any good, It says, Kingmax SD Platinum "Max 60x". Is it fast enough for Canon IS S2 snapshoot and video abuse? :) What exactly does 60x means?

LCD or CRT for gaming?

I`m looking for a monitor, it will be used on gaming machine (7800gtx), i read lots of reviews, Samsung 4ms looks nice, but still not faithfully showing colors, and i dont like the fact that all of them LCD-s have some issues when playing DVD movies. So shoud i buy quality 21" CRT or 19" LCD...

What DVD burner should I buy?

1) I`m gonna buy dvd-rw and different guys are telling me different stuff, ones reccomends Pioneer, others NEC, and third say Plextor is worth extra cash, and with all the new versions, and firmwares, I`m a little lost. Most importany thing for me is stabile writing (ultra speed isnt primary)...

My Claw wont go 2+ Ghz

I have AMD 64 2800+ Clawhammer (C0), Epox 8kda3j, 2x256 Kingmax moduls with 2.5 timings 2.5-4-4-8, i overclocked it, and at 1.998 Ghz (222 FSB - 9x multiplyer), system goes unstable, Super Pi reports error, DvD to Divx encode tilts, blue screen apears. Voltage and other stuff are default...

AMD 64 temeperatures

I have AMD64 2800+ Clawhammer and temperatures are between 40c (idle) and 56-7 (full). I have a box cooler, thats pretty loud, and sometimes runs at 5600 rpm (at least epox 8kda3j is reporting it). Is this temeprature OK? I dont have CnQ, becouse it have been deleted from bios when i flashed...
