Loading new Windows 7 on SSD?

I load all programs on my 240gb ssd. Battlefield 4, skyrim, browsers etc.. and still have plenty of space. Use you other drive for storage of files.

I gave 8.1 2 installs worth of effort, and finally stable back at win-7 with latest beta drivers. MY 6970 would just cause the darn memory leak after several rounds. Very frustrating.

I had the "Memory Leak" running HIS 6970 2gig with 16 gig system memory. For me the problem was with AMD drivers, Windows 8, and the 6xxx series, apparently happens with mostly 5xxx and 6xxx cards. Went back to Win-7 with 13.9 stable driver and still crash sometimes but able to get long matches...

Why when I upgraded to windows 8.1 won't my games run?

Simple fix for me was to go back to 7. Sad but true.

Yea I changed my Amazon Preorder from the BF4 to the BF4+Premium for 109.00 simply because it has a release date of the 28th vs the 29th. I was gonna buy premium anyway this just sealed it. I need time to preload this baby. Can't Wait!

FINALLY got Vista x64 working.

I'm sorry to say that your journey of frustration with Vista 64 has only begun. Within 1 to 3 weeks you will be begging to go back to XP. I did. Vista is not ready yet.
