Thanks for the replys. The FAQ was good and I'll keep it in mind for possible future need. But then I found a second "problem" while applying the FAQ directions. Apparently instead of a clean re-install of Windows, I actually installed a second copy of Windows. I had one on C and one on F...

Can I/ should I change drive letter?

I had to reinstall Win XP Home because a failed drive install started causing instability. The hard drive has 3 partitions (C, F, G) with Windows on C before I did a full reinstall, not repair. Now Windows is on F and the original F files are on C. I'm assuming that this is not an ideal setup...

IE6 Favorites Icons

Is there any way to keep the unique site icons in my favorites list? Using WinXP Home, IE6, and after rebooting Windows has changed all the unique icons to the generic IE icon. I would rather have the visual key of the unique icons. Thanks in advance.

Flashing Bios in WinXP?

I have flashed the bios in Win98 with a bootable DOS floppy. However, since Win XP is not DOS based, do I still flash the bios with the bootable DOS floppy? I have an Epox 8KHA+; the Epox site still gives the instructions to use the bootable DOS floppy. Thanks for any guidance!

CNET has a post saying Intel price drop to be announced this weekend. They say drop will be in range of 6%-10% on PIII and Celeron. That would make PIII 1 GHZ about $400 (on pricewatch for $446 now). Compare to TBird 1GHZ at $189 and still falling!:)
