Is it worth over clocking this rig?

Get a Antec NeoPower around $80 bucks if you look around, i have what some people would say a "sub par" PSU ( Ultra X- Connect 500w ) , but i have read mixed reviews and it works fine for me, but i prolly will within a few months get a OCZ Modsteam

try running your ram at 2T, just to see if it will boot. i know the amd64 does not like 2T but just to see if it will boot

WOOHOO my first O/C

Well guys i put it up to 278 x 9 = 2502 and it ran perfect... this is getting run just trying to see how far i can push it :).. i did move the vcore up to 1.45 just to make sure it stays stable. Thanks!

problems overclocking 3000+ venice

i would do what he said, start with 220 HTT 4x and up it from there. but remember to have your memory at 5:6 and ALWAYS keep the command rate @ 1T :) If you cant get past a point try flashing your bios to the next stable one and start all over.

WOOHOO my first O/C

Quick update!!! now i have my PC running @ 270 x 9 = 2430 HTT = 4x memory @ 225mhz 2.5-3-2-5 1T 166:200 WOOHOO! :) do you think i should change my HT to 3x? right now it is at 270 x 4 = 1080.. i know it is supposed to be @ 1000MHZ but will this damage anything?

Hey everyone, i seem to be having a huge problem. I can't get Java to run after installing it on my amd64 3000+ regular windows XP. I download the regular Java from the web site and it installs fine ( take forever though! ) but when i go to open it; it just hangs or makes my computer restart...
