X2 4400+ o/c hit a wall

That is weird, maybe its the mobo's limit, but still sort of weak, my best friend got 2500ish on the same CPU but his HHT was closer to 300...and multiplier was 9 or 10ish...

is dual core useless?

Thats funny because u own one....:), I am just waiting until M2 socket comes about...and until mid-range cards from 7xxx serious come out...then I'll probly upgrade from my baton 2500+ @ 2.2

I would like your input for the computer I'm wishing to get!

Speaking of LCd, its huge difference, I can sit in front of my LCD 3x as long as I could on my CRT, you are paying more for the LCD, but that wud save u laser-eye-surgery later on...

First: Hewelett Packard Celery 500mhz 64 ram 10gig inegrated video/audio 17" monitor Second: Dell Intel P4 1300mhz 128mb RDRAM 30gig Geforce 2 Now own XP 2500+ @2.2ghz 512 ram DDR400 80 gig + 30gig geforce 4 Next system...hmmm probly M2 socket...:)

There's bad things going around maxtors, I personally had 2 maxtors and had problems with one of the them all the time....arrghhh...If u want speed go Western Digital, althogh companies like Hitachi are quality drives also.
