    Add Flip3D to your Mouse

Well there are quite a few Expose' clones out there. Some are pretty good, might try those.

    Add Flip3D to your Mouse

I know its Eye Candy, but I actually use it. If you own a 3, 4 or 5 button mouse, you can re-assign one of your buttons to evoke Flip3D.. Option 1: Your Mouse vendors Vista driver package already has the option to re-assign. Microsoft Intellipoint 6.2 has it, but not sure about others. Done...

    Older Logitech Mice and Vista

I've posted this on a few of the forums I belong to, and figured I'd share it here also. As most of you know, Logitech has refused to offer Vista drivers for their older mice. I've got 2 MX300s which perform horrendously slow with Vista's generic drivers, plus the normal button options are...

    ASUS A8R-MVP stable @325MHz HTT

Anyone else having issues with the onboard lan? Mine keeps dropping out under heavy load. I first tried the Marvell driver off the ASUS install CD, then the Generic Marvell Yukon driver included with Windows XP SP2, and finally the latest driver directly from the Marvell website. All of them...

    ASUS A8R-MVP stable @325MHz HTT

Running 270 MHz X 10 @ 2.5,3,3,7, with an X2 3800 Toledo. Enabling overvolt increases VCore by .07. The ASUS probe verifies this, as well as Motherboard Monitor.

    ASUS A8R-MVP stable @325MHz HTT

Had this board for 2 days, and am generally happy with it. I migrated from the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2, and this board is a bit more stable. BTW, I played with Motherboard Monitor, and finally got it to work with this board (I hate SpeedFan, and the Asus probe sucks). Select Asus A7N8XLA in the...

Why is it so tedious to reset CMOS?

You can also hold down the "Insert" key while pressing the power button to boot the machine. Most boards will reset the BIOS to "Failsafe" default settings.

ASRock 939Dual SATA MB bios settings.

Follow my instructions above, but try with looser timings 3,4,4,10 instead of 2.5,3,3,10.

ASRock 939Dual SATA MB bios settings.

In BIOS... Set memory timings to manual. Set memory speed to 200 MHz (1 to 1). Set "Flexibility" to disabled. You didn't specify what memory brand you are using, so I'd try setting the timings to 2.5,3,3,10 to start with.

    Asrock 939 + Canon IP3000 printer problem

I'll assume you guys are using the USB connection? Windows comes with it's own USB2 driver, you might want to try using the ULI USB2 Driver. http://www.uli.com.tw/eng/support/drivers.php Select M1695 for unified driver. Another thought; if you are using USB, make sure "Legacy" USB is enabled...

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 - Socket 939 with PCI-E and real AGP and Socket AM2 upgrade path

I haven't complained about the quality of board itself, only the BIOS issues. It's become apparent that ASRock doesn't want to spend additional money for more extensive BIOS features. These additional features require more extensive BIOS coding packages from AMI. This latestest BIOS update...

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 - Socket 939 with PCI-E and real AGP and Socket AM2 upgrade path

I guess you've missed the whole point of overclocking then. Take low to mid priced components, and run them above spec to equal the performance of their higher priced siblings. I can't afford $200+ for a DFI with all the bells and whistles, coupled with an X2 4800, or my dream system with...

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 - Socket 939 with PCI-E and real AGP and Socket AM2 upgrade path

In a word, this new (1.30) BIOS SUCKS. Not only did they not address the lack of Vcore/Vdimm, but they managed to defeat the Vcore mods. In addition, Vcore adjustment, and Multiplier adjustments do not function anymore. You can set them to whatever you want, reboot, and the're right where...

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with X2, No setting for 1T or 2T

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with X2, No setting for 1T or 2T

Same here BlackPearl1 I have become attached as well. Just picked up some 2 X 512 Patriot PC3200+XBL to replace my 4 X 256 Hynix. This board loves TCCD. I'm now running 274 MHz Base Clock/HTT. Pretty sweet. Still no 1T for me though.

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with X2, No setting for 1T or 2T

I've tested the 1.23 and 1.3 BIOS. Both have MA/1T/2T available now in memory options, but it's still unstable with my X2. Also no increase in Base Clock/HTT, 270 MHz is still the highest I can go. No increase in Vcore adjustments above stock 1.35-1.4, in fact they broke the Vcore settings...

    AsRock 939Dual-SATA2 problem

First, disable flexibility option. If that's enabled, your ram will not run 200 MHz 1/1, as the board will lower the divider to 166 or 133. 2nd, raise your VDimm to "High". You might want to loosen those timings a bit to get it stable, say 2.5, 3, 3, 10, 2T to start.

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with X2, No setting for 1T or 2T

Ahhh, that would explain why I don't see it then. I'm also running with all four DIMM slots full, so 1T is impossible for me anyway.

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 - Socket 939 with PCI-E and real AGP and Socket AM2 upgrade path

x2plasma Disable "Flexibility Option" in BIOS. This item is found next to the other memory timing. If it's set to enable or auto, the board defaults to 5/6 divider (166 MHz).

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 with X2, No setting for 1T or 2T

That option only appears in the OCW Beta 1 BIOS for now. It will more than likely appear in a future stable BIOS directly from ASRock. BTW, try setting your TRAS to 10 instead of 5, Asyn Latency to 6, Read Preamble to 5.

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 BIOS options

Peter... I am well aware of that fact, but the thread starter inferred that ASRock was considering it, which would mean that the "Hardware" is there, but requires a more elaborate BIOS coding.
