How come my speakers pop when light is turned on?

The problem is with shielding in your speaker systems. Since the ampifier is "built-in" the speakers and the shilding is quite thin your amplifier in the spekers will pick up any electrical waves. When you switch on a light, etc those things generate electrical waves and your amplifier picks...

Please Help Guys.... Buying Tonight!

I think he meant, that nvidia has worse shadows then ati. I switched from a 7800GTx to a 1900XT and there are some diff between the 2. They are mostly noticable when u look at the shadows and nvidia had worse shadow quality then ati in the following games Ive played. FarCry, BF2, BFME2

It seems that my problem finally got solved. I had to create a floppy with the 6.53 drivers install the OS with those then just simply install the 6.70 drivers in xp install SW drivers too and everythign seem to work ok now.

Overclocking troubles

You probably should. I have your cpus little sister, 3500+ Venice and had similar problems. Had to jack up the vcore up to 1.70 so i could run everythign stable at 11x250. I think more vcore will solve your problem, though you need some nice cooling for that vcore.

Hehe, sorry about your prob. I was asking cause I am having serious problems with some nforce drivers that is why i asked. I run trouble free with 6.53 ver. Maybe it is a PSU problem if you are having trouble powering up.

Upping from 9800 XT to 6800 Ultra (potentially)...

Get a 6800GT. It is avaiable in AGP and doesnt cost that much and still performs real nicely.

Wanted: A driver fix for the HORRIBLE Nvidia shadow IQ in Farcry...

Tried with FarCry 1.1 now I have good graph. Shadows are the same as in the above posted pics. So the problem is not with the game's patch but rather with nvidia's driver.

Tried the original game (with no patch) and the latest nvidia driver 81.84 on a 7800GTX. Everythign was on max but the graph was horrible and unplayable. So it is probably a driver issue.

I think it is both patch and driver. I used to have a 6800Gt and when I played FarCry wit old nvidia drivers and unpatched FarCry I did not experience this problem. Sinve I upgraded to a 7800 GTX and I noticed this problem in 3DMark05 in canyon flight, havent tried FarCry yet but will give it a try.

A8N-SLI Premium won't boot after driver install

Hi all! I have had the same problem. Though it happend on an Epox 9NPA+ Sli board. I was using the SI SATA in Raid 0 with a maxtor and a Samsung HDD. Once I treid to boot up and one of my drive was missing so far it happend only once.

Well, there isnt that much of a diff between SLI and Ultra chipset. They are almost teh same. You are right about the SATA controller, cause I was using the SI which cant be found on the Ultra board. BIOS is very similar for both if not the same.
