The last Epson we had started to spit ink all over itself just after the warranty expired. (It was also a replacment to start out with) Tried 3rd party ink and the colors were :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:
Like cars I think it has somthing to do with Performance the Hotter your engine, the better your performance = more heat so you need better cooling. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
Question: Will the P3 MOB support the Video card? that could be a factor, also as for speed there is a definite difference between the two you are talking 600+Mhg difference. Plus Memory is cheap.
Who runs a 2.8? both my Prescots 3.2 478 and 3.4 775 run hot. my 3.4 idl @ 46C with the present setup my 3.2 idl @55C with the present cooler with the stock it was ild @ 48C (broke the stock one):( The reason the 3.6 478 was pulled after production was a heat issue.
It's not in Standard mod :15 ppm Black and 11ppm color (from the manual) the advertised speed is for (custom setting 5) what ever that was it is not listed as one of the setting. But it is still a nice printer.:D If I was to replace it I would look at the ip4000r it has a wireless NIC.
The link you have is for a Jetway 939GT4-SLI MB Not a Biostar NF4UL-A9 which is a pci-e only board. So the answer would be no on the biostar with the AGP.
The point is you do not have to buy a controler card although price wise you could be in the same range.

I found the 7000 loud (Had a high pitched whine) so i replaced it with a Coolermaster Hyper 48 which originaly was noisey to. so I replaced the fan with a Thermaltake silent cat 90mm fan on it runs cooler and quieter. But it is a monster. the original Hyper 48 fan spec said 18.5 db @1400 RPM...
I have a Hawking Tecnologies Net drive that when i got it it ran hotter than :evil:. So i removed the perfirated cover over the fan in the back and opened up the holes in the front so that some air could get through. Need to make sure these things have plenty of space around them. Mine also had...
Contact Seagate support and they will for $24.95 send you a replacement drive. Normaly a quick turnaround . Then you can send the old drive back in that box. I just sent one back but I am in no hurry so sent mine first.
