I have the OCZ EB DDR PC-4000 2x1024MB Platinum sticks. I believe the chips are Infineon CE-6. Right now I'm running it at 2.5-3-2-7 DDR400. I'm planning to bump this to DDR500 soon. I don't believe I'll be able to keep these timings, but you never know.
Well if it's the CPU that's really bad news... If I need to return the CPU, it's going to be hard as hell to prove that the CPU is the cause of the problem:disgust:

The memory is running at stock voltage (2.6v) and I did run memTest86 at the BIOS; it completed all the tests without any failure.
I'm curious about the bottom part of the message where it says "http.sys" Would dthat mean that the problem is actually related to that file?

What's the lowest voltage set in the BIOS to achieve 2.5GHz? My heat sink is a Thermaltake A1772, so I want as low a voltage as possible to get 2.5GHz...
I saw somebody's sig that said he was using the Patriot PC3200 (PDC2G3200LLK) at 2-3-2-5 (it was a X2 3800+ @ 10x245) which I think is darn good for memory that cost about 260$ for 2GB
Is it realistic to run that memory, the 2 GB kit (the PN is OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) at DDR480 or DDR500 with 2.5-3-2-7 (or lower) timings at 2.7v or 2.8v (and be stable) on a DFI Lan Party Ultra mother board. If not, what should I expect as far as timings at DDR500?

According to the Epox 9NPA+ motherboard stats, it's stock/minimum CPU voltage is 1.5v. Since the Athlon X2 4200+ can be overclocked at 240x11 by using a CPU voltage of 1.45v, does this really mean that the stcok CPU voltage on the Epox will be sufficient to get 240MHz on the bus?
