My x48 set my trd at like 8 or 10 i cant remember i was getting 7700mb/s memory performance, ive now set it to 6 and its over 8500. If you have a intel chipset you can use a program called memset to view and change your performance level in windows.
Try increasing your voltages , my cpu uses 1.239 at 3.2ghz i also add +0.1 to my northbridge and +0.05 to my fsb. I use a gigabyte board not sure what the defaults are.

I got a 4600+ @ 2.7 and love my 8800gtx with it.... i get 175 fps in cs at 1920x1200 16xcs aa and 16xaf under vista my mate with a 6700 at same settings get like 180ish. So unless you really need those few fps you should be fine.
With my rig in my signature i get 26fps average @1920x1200 8xcsaa and everything in game as high as it can go (ultra / high). Are you guys using your control panels to force af on?
Where do u get thr 100.xx series drivers for xp? Only ones on the nvidia site i can find are the 97.92 and the really old 93.81 in the beta area... the rest are for vista =(. I do run vista ultimate 64bit on a seperate partition but i still mainly game on xp since its what they are all installed...

Heh 2003 actualy shows up on the vista boot one... so i ended up with "old version of windows" "windows" "2003 set up" and when i went to old windows (xp) it then goes to the windows xp boot and i gotta pick between xp and 2003 again.. so i didnt worry about finishing 2003. Ill do it once this...
Didnt work it doesnt see the vista version of windows... so maybe its on the other drive? Its actualy just a partioned drive i made using partition magic 8 , i wanna use it for windows 2003 now (for my studies) and this boot for vista is kinda annoying...
yes i have but the problem is the vista boot file is different and even tho i formatted the drive with vista on it..... its still coming up with the vista dual boot screen not the xp one.

i recently tried the vista beta on my other drive while dual booting it with xp, i formatted the drive but im still getting the boot screen to pick between the two. In boot.ini it says vista uses a different file.. but the driver has been formatted ... what can i do?
If u want a high end agp card , go with the gainwood bliss 7800gs+ , it will overclock to be better than a 7800gtx pcie even tho its agp.. it has 512 memory and a g71 core.
