Time to say buh-bye to HBO?

Yeah, Entourage is the only reason I keep HBO around but, we'll see how long that lasts. I have noticed too that everytime I'm looking for something to watch, there is NEVER anything good on...until I get to Starz...which is, of course, the only channels I DON'T get...*shrug* I say ditch em!

Anyone got any ideas?

So, I find myself wanting to pick up an airbrush, you know, just something for a beginner, it's something I would like to work on and see if I can get into it. Anyone here have any suggestions, link to places online where I can find it, etc. etc.? I want to start out with painting on...

Thats wierd, it only cycls them for a short time then stops, thats enough to burn in? I don't like the dumb images they have anyway, so I will probably go with the all black image trick (also saw that mentioned in a review online).

Well, now that I know its a limitation of the TV and not the remote....I love it again. I still think the web interface sucks and could be alot better, but its not like it doesn't work. And one button switching between tasks (i.e. DVD to PVR) is SO nice. All in all, I am pleased!

I dont have a problem with delays, and after an hour on the phone with them it turns out that this DLP just fluxuautes too much for it to reliably work, so we set it to worst case scenario of delaying 25 seconds, but I know for a fact it takes longer than that to warm up if its cold in here...

First off, that is not exactly a crappy TV. Second, why is it I can go directly to any other input then? I can goto DVI, I can go to all three components, RGB, Antenna, everything except HDMI. It doesn't make sense that the only way to get to HDMI is to cycle through when thati snot the...

Well thats just it, there is no "InputHDMI1" on my remote, there is only a Input Next, which, btw, also does not work without training. So there is no way to train that command or I sould.

I just picked up a Harmony 880 yesterday and I gotta say, so far, I am not terribly impressed. The web setup seems a bit clumsy, but whats really bad is the remote codes. I setup the TV as a Samsung HLP5063W and it sees it fine, and SOME of the remote functions work great, but it has WAY too...

Yeah, even if I dont get much of an OC out of it (it certainly can't HURT though) running what I'm running at a lower temp is great, but even better is taking as much heat as possible OUT of the case. If thats all it did I'd still be happy. I guess we will see, mine should ship today.

MCE Display Flickering.

I rebuilt my PC with MCE 2005 tonight and after getting it all squared away I noticed that every now and again the display blacks out for a second then comes right back. I never had this problem before, anyone know if it is related to recent video drivers? The 7800GT?

I looked at this SDK briefly the other day, it doesnt look like they include anything compiled so really any decent language should be able to do just fine. Personally I'm looking at it in C# (which even if they included a compiled DLL I could justmake unmanged calls to it) because I think...

p.s.: it actually only takes me about 25 minutes from start to stop to reinstall windows. The drive I install to is fast, and I have a seperate partition with NOTHING but XP on it and the contents of my desktop. Just copy the desktop folder to the other drive, reboot with the disc in place...

Bios is up to date, didn't install the drivers (lol, havent had to install a CPU driver in a VERY long time). After installing the driver however I STILL don't get anything in Device Manager. But I was thinking about it and I got some new ram recently, and the other day I think I pushed it...

So yeah, I broke down and bought an X2 3800+ installed it today, reboot windows....nothing, one CPU, thats it, windows KNOWS the name is X2 (not like that matters, I imagine they could call it the hamburgalar 4000 and windows wouldn't know that meant to install a Multiproc HAL). Reboot again...

yarg, check me sig, I think it can handle it. :) Honestly I was not impressed by the FEAR demo, SP or MP, and I'd much rather play a MP than SP game, something I can pick up, run through a round or two and drop it if need be. But actually, my friends father passed away from cancer monday...

Decisions, decisions.

Well, a little of both really. I like my DS because it provides me things to do when waiting for shiz to finish at work. But I love FPS's too, I've played the hell out of DoD:Source, which is good and bad because it makes me wonder if I really NEED another FPS right now. So torn.
