It will not install? Windows 2000 Pro question: If I boot up with a 98 boot disk, and type in "winnt /s:D:" at the d:\ prompt, it should install correct? well, all it is saying to me is it "Can not find a place for a swap file" Any clue on how I can get it to install...

Win2k advice needed

Hey vfrjim, when I read your post I had to laugh because I got so pissed off today trying to figure out how to make a simple bootdisk that I went out and bought a beginners book about W2K and how to do things. Thanks and Thanks for everyones input and help.

It turns out that my Abit KA7 likes the SC in PCI slot 3, since moving it there I have not had any problems. Thanks for all of the ideas and help.

Temp Question

Does anybody know around what temp a Slot A 800MHz classic should be running at using an Alpha HSF. I am asking because I do not have the temp probe that should have came with my KA7 and I am using this thing I got from Radio Shack and it is showing 35C.

I will wait till they are a little more established before ordering from The Overclockerz Store. They do have great pricing and products. I am sure within time they will have both feet on the ground, but right now they are just starting out and got in a little over their heads with orders...
