Which 22" for Xbox 360?

I agree. The Sceptre might not be ideal, but it's the only one I know of that fits your specs You may need to pick up a replacement DVI cable, I've heard of a few quality control issues.

Possible CPU issue?

I've tried just 1 stick or the other (after CMOS clear,) no go. I reinstalled the DFI board, still no go. I tried it without the ram and did get a beep code. I can try mounting it outside the box when time allows, I'm pretty sure nothing is shorting against the case though. The A64 3200+...

You're both right, I do need to narrow it down. It's of course more difficult when you don't have access to a complete second set of components. I have the second mobo, the Asus, and I do have a second video card. I can see what sieistganzfett is saying about not volunteering any extra...

DVI problems

I would swap out the DVI cable. There is one of those monitors, I forget if it's this one, that is notorious for coming with a faulty DVI cable.

Which card should I get?

I would go for the X1950XT as well, also because of the resolution you're running. I'm not so sure whether or not the GTS would bottleneck, but I would guess the GTX would, at least in certain situations. I would have to strongly consider what SickBeast said however.

Is a 6800GT worth upgrading to a 7800GT?

So the question is, is 5 to 10% better performance worth another $20? Of course, you could play that question all the way up to the 8800GTX :D

I know it's old but...

You're welcome. Sounds like you made a good choice. That card sounds like it's the model that's an X800 XL at heart for a better price than what the X800 XL's used to go for. It's a great performer with the 16 pipes but not much for overclocking.

All 3 would be an improvement. The 7600GT looks like it'll only be a marginal one though, and the faster gpu will probably make a bigger difference than the ram at this point. I would say, for games anyway, the 7800GT would be your best bet without busting your budget. If you're going to...

ASUS EAX1950 Pro Driver Issues

This happened with the X1950XTX. You couldn't use the 6.9's that were released until someone hacked the driver's INF file and added the X1950XTX's name to it. Then they worked fine. Now the X1950XTX's name is in the official 6.10s, but they left the X1950pro's name out. It'll be in the 6.11s...

Nvidia 8800 GTX pics

Looks to me like someone just took 2 of those PCI-E to standard molex adapters and plugged them in, possibly for effect. The length is what concerns me, my X1900GT is already almost as long as my mobo is deep.

I've never seen ATI drivers do that before either. Are you using any kind of Windows cleaner/evidence eliminator type program? If you are, it may be wiping out the personalized settings you've entered in Windows.
