Power Consumption

3000+ Venice OCing

I can find some 3000+ processors at have E3 stepping. Would that at least be better?

Antec PSU

So I bought an Antec TruePower 2.0 430W power supply from CompUSA, and found that it had a 24 pin main power connector. Unfortunately, the mobo i'm getting (Asrock 939dual-sata2) uses a 20 pin connector. So, my question is... Can I just plug it in and use 20 out of 24 pins? Or do I need a 24...

Unfortunately, for the Asrock mobo, the 20 pin power connector is in the top-left...so Where can I get extensions? BTW - Thanks JBDan for measurements. I appreciate your and everybodys help
