T60 FlexViews

I've heard the FlexView is used on 15" T60's, specifically the 1400x1050 SXGA+. Can someone tell me for certain if the 15" XGA (1024x768) also uses FlexView IPS?

What AS-IPS panels are coming soon?

AS-IPS looks like my next LCD purchase, but I am not interested in the size, resolution and dot-pitch of the panel used in the NEC 20WGX2. Are there any informed readers out there willing to tell us with certainty what AS-IPS panels we can expect in the near future, and precisely when?

Other good free C/C++ compilers include Digital Mars' & GCC/MingW. If Walter Bright charged for the Digital Mars C/C++ or D compilers he'd be doing software developers and software users a net service. http://www.digitalmars.com

How do people make the "motion" internet ads?

You could do the same with a Java applet, and probably more. Right click to determine which you are viewing. There are some other less popular browser plugins which aim for the same thing.

The WD4000YR is back on Newegg... and I still can't decide. It seems Seagate is reputed to be more reliable across models but the SR reliability survey for the 7200.8 is not good, and neither were some of the reviews comparing it to the 7200.7. Meanwhile, WD makes "enterprise"-level SATA...

Maybe the NL35 series from Seagate are their SATA workstation offerings. WD just happens to provide enthusiast level performance with their 24/7 workstation and enterprise drives. I presume the NL35 is not on par there since I've never heard of them...

10x250, +.1 volt on dram (2.7), +.05 volt on cpu (1.45v) ClockGen reports 1.4v for CPU though I set 1.45v in bios. And SmartGuardian reports similarly confusing 2.6v on dram. I didn't touch the chipset. Everything was about 50° C after 6.5 hours of Prime95. I have stock cooling, with...

These timings seem to be working, Prime95 ran for 6.5 hours. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=75199 I upped my ram and cpu voltage slightly because I was damn tired of using pliers to painfully clear cmos when the board wouldn't post.

I too am paying much more attention to warranties as I get older. I think I will go with one of the 5 year warranty WD or Seagate drives. The WD4000YR reviews are impressive, so I think that's probably the one. SR even claims WD were considering calling this a 7200 RPM Raptor. ;-)...

Want a kvm that will retain support for Logitech's software

I use Remote Desktop. It's faster than changing monitor modes and the absolute hell of all KVMs no longer exists. I've even bought new monitors to avoid using KVMs. That said, I'd still like to hear KVM suggestions..
