I got these (2) cards from server pulls, and have a few questions... 1) How do you tell a 200 from a 400? Been all over the web, and never got a real answer...the Model tag/# says "Model CPI/200 &400 PCI"...hmmm:confused: There is another number--04-1951-001, but I cannot find a cross...

Raid 5 question...settle a bet!

Help settle a bet:beer: We have a Compaq server that has 3 hot-swap disks with a hardware RAID 5 configuration (no hot spare) running Windows 2000 Server. Since RAID 5 requires a 3 disk minimum, I say if 1 disk fails, the server stops working. My friend says it will keep running long enough...

Hi all...2 quick questions. 1) Will a stick of PC 3200 (specifically, pc3200 512mb made from bh-5 winbond chips) work in this motherboard here (I have the 845PE Max-L, MS-6580)...The MSI site say's "Supports two 184-pin DDR200/DDR266/DDR333 DIMMs"...I need to make a deal ASAP, so a quick reply...

AMD to Intel Converts: Are you glad you made the switch?

I've been back and forth. Have run both AMD (Duron's, T-Bird's) and Intel (Celerons, PII, PIII) through the years...no problems with either, and had good success OC'ing both. I've been on the AMD bandwagon for awhile....bottom line (to me)...price...AMD's are a less expensive chip.

ATI TV Wonder VE/No TV...Arrghh!!!

UPDATE!!! The DScaler (Version 4.0.1?Alpha) program works super with the ATI TV Wonder VE...video is great, and you have tons of options/ tweaks...again, thanks LuDaCriS66 ;)

I just bought an ATI TV Wonder VE card and what a pain in the a$$:| I'm running WinXP Pro (all updates applied), GeForce4 Ti200 with the newest drivers (30.xx), and Sound Blaster Audigy X-Gamer. First, no sound (but had TV picture) with the ATI 7.6 drivers...uninstall, and use the ATI beta 7.7...

I've looked all over for these "dscalar" drivers, or whatever else will work...can someone provide a link or something for this ATI Wonder VE card for Windows XP Pro...this is frustrating...this card driver support SUCKS...I'm ready to take it back. Any help appreciated...thanks.

Figured it out...Had to use the CD, then manually upgrade each driver with the 7.6 beta's...got sound and video now, but if I close the program and try to re-open the TV tuner, no good...I have to reboot....very quirky set-up/card. Thanks all.
